I’m Jordan C. Morris—screenwriter, story coach, and certified narrative obsessive. I’ve spent my career chasing the answer to one question: What makes a story unforgettable?

That pursuit led me deep into the art and craft of storytelling—from emotional architecture and genre mastery to concept development that doesn’t just work, but wows. Along the way, I created the Life & Death Story Model™, a powerful narrative framework designed to help writers cut through the noise and craft stories that actually matter. Not just clever, not just well-structured—alive.

I also developed the Story Forge Process—a high-impact creative system that takes screenwriters from half-baked idea to pitch-perfect script without crushing their voice along the way—and The Emotional Arc, a methodology that ensures every story doesn’t just land... it lingers.

To help writers bring it all together, I built Six Months to Screenplay, a roadmap for crafting production-ready scripts with speed, clarity, and emotional firepower. I also run Storytowne, a vibrant online community where emerging and established screenwriters hone their craft, build their network, and get unstuck—together.

I’ve worked across film, television, and digital, and was proud to earn a Canadian Screen Award for my work on Mr. Dressup: The Magic of Make-Believe (now streaming on Amazon Prime). I've spoken at the Ontario Screen Creators’ Conference, the Forest City Film Festival, Sudbury Cinefest, and more—and I always leave a little fire behind for the writers in the room.
