I am a life-long researcher and writer. I have written about history for years but this is my first biography. I am working on a sequel that will cover the 1930s and the start of World War II. I work as a historian so this work combined my love of family with my love of history and produced something I could be proud of. I am a widow now and my four children are grown and gone from the nest. I was born in Victoria, BC, Canada, and have lived here all my life. I love to talk about history and, in particular, this book.
