I’m Dr. Evelyn Higgins, founder of Wired For Addiction® and Wired BioHealth, with over 36 years of clinical experience. As a retired physician, Certified Addictionologist and Diplomate of the American College of Addictionology, I’ve had the honor of advising the U.S. Surgeon General, hosting a Gracie Award-winning radio program, and serving as a 1996 Olympic Team Doctor.
I’m passionate about helping people live a full life through the Four Pillars of Health—physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual. My work integrates the science of addiction recovery with the latest research on mental health biomarkers and epigenetics to offer a more comprehensive approach to wellness. I’ve dedicated 17 years to this field and am the author of The Dr. Higgins Guide to Health & Wellness and The Mystery of Happiness.
