Dr. Feliks Kravets has over 25 years of experience in higher and post-secondary education and is the founder of CyberSecurityEasy.com LLC. This initiative is open to massively support the community by providing cyber safety coaching and improving social engineering awareness. The level of cyber safety awareness and understanding of social engineering concepts is too low and it's goal is to make social engineering concepts of cybersecurity easier to understand, covering topics such as emails, SMS messaging, phone calls, passwords, use of AI, and more. Dr. Kravets has taught cyber safety to seniors for over four years and led various professional development sessions for professors, staff, and students at numerous educational institutions. Additionally, he is the author of books on cyber safety for kids and seniors, available on Amazon.
Dr. Kravets is a senior-level executive with experience across several industries. He spent seven years as a divisional Operations Manager for one of the largest community colleges in the Chicago metropolitan area and worked as a Data Analyst for AT&T (formerly Ameritech). He is the founder and CEO of U.S. startups building innovative solutions and serves as a startup advisor. He has also been on the advisory board of a non-profit organization providing technology support to other non-profits in the U.S. and has consulted with C-level executives.
As a visiting professor and business lecturer, Dr. Kravets has taught business and technology-related disciplines at the University of the Potomac, Benedictine University, Northwestern Business College, Illinois Institute of Art in Schaumburg, Kendall College, College of Lake County, and other educational institutions. Prior to running the CyberSecurityEasy initiative, he led the Business English Program at the Chicago campus of the University of the Potomac for about five years. Dr. Kravets holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from Argosy University and a graduate degree in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management.
