I am a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and have been working in the arts my whole life. My background is in Museums / Exhibit Design, but now I am an author and illustrator of picture books for children. My specialty is making complex information more accessible. I write informational fiction and non-fiction about nature, animals, and outdoor recreation. I love making kids laugh and often include humor in my work. I have two professionally published books with four more on the way. I started this career in 2017 and am happy to share what I've learned about writing, illustrating and the publishing process.
