Thank you so much for your interest in Poetic Resurrection. Here are a few requirements for being a guest on the show.

  1. We're interested in perceptions and exploring them. Mindfulness (your journey) and think of the podcast as a conversation.
  2. We are about self-reflecting questions and experiences, poetry, books, and meditation. A message that helps the listener.
  3. Books having the above message are encouraged and we consider quality over quantity.
  4. This is not an interview-only podcast and we release the podcast twice a month. We interview one guest per month.
  5. Please have a separate mic and headset from the computer. Earbuds or cellphone headsets work. No need to spend any money. THIS IS MANDITORY.

Again thank you for your interest and hope we can connect.

In the Poetic Resurrection podcast with host Sonia Iris Lozada, you’re going to learn about perceptions. How we react and feel. I have gone on an intensive search for my true self. Growing up poor – I thought I wanted everything. Large home, fancy cars, first-class traveling, and lots of money. A couple of years ago I decided it was time to start meditating. I’ve been wanting to do it for years but my mind would race with a to-do list, what happened yesterday or what will come tomorrow. The latter was me. After being able to quiet my mind – even if it was for a minute and let me tell you a minute seemed forever. There was so much in my life I felt I couldn’t live without and once I practiced gratitude and acceptance – all my wants weren’t so important. Because of this, I ended up writing three bestselling poetry books. I’ve been writing poetry since a child but I would put away never to show anyone my vulnerabilities. Today I’m more accepting especially since I realized I’m a work in progress and will continue to learn more and more. Changing my perceptions was key in changing myself. I hope to enlighten others with this podcast and its guests. I wish to make you feel that you are truly enough and not alone.
