After years of trying to fit into a world, I didn't quite belong. Climbing a ladder that was giving me splinters, I jumped off and matrixed myself out of the corporate world. I looked in the mirror and was like, ‘Girrrrlll, your Daddy didn't name you Toshiba for you to be playing so damn small .’ After that revelation and a Beyoncé booty bounce, I decided to 'Hell Yeah' my life (cue Mya from girlfriends).
Since early 2020, I have co-founded and co-host 2 online talk shows, Not Your Typical Girl Talk and F*ck Your Feelings The Show’. I have written and published 8 books, with a 9th on they way (Spring 2022), and work with other entrepreneurs to clarify their business ideas and create strategies for business success.
Choosing to step out on my own has allowed me to strut all this badassedness into the world with no apologies. Creating great characters and telling our stories just the way I want. No pretense. No BS. No fear. I'm finally speaking in my most authentic voice, and lord help us all because there is no stopping me now.
I'm betting on myself, and there is no better bet I could have taken.
