I grew up as a military kid living in different parts of the U.S. as well as China, Japan, and Okinawa.
In 2019 I married an Icelandic girl and am living as an expat here in Iceland, enjoying the wilderness and culture.
I'm currently working on a lifelong dream to get my pilot's license and have had some incredible experiences already, including flying over our active volcano.
I started a travel podcast in the summer of 2020 as a way to cope with the travel restrictions, and while I had no idea what I was doing it turned out to be a big success. In the Fall of 2021, I launched my current podcast, Curiosity Shire, to explore the stories of people who are living incredible adventures and impacting the world.
