Regan Gayadeen

He is considered to be a true “island child.”Regan Gayadeen was born on the island of St. Croix in the United States Virgin Islands, and was raised in Trinidad. He left Trinidad at the age of 22; returned to the U.S.V.I to join the United States Military. While serving in the military, Regan joined the Virgin Islands Police Department.

After an extensive career in Law Enforcement and the US Military, Regan married his second wife Myrna Herman and moved to Baltimore, Maryland. This is where he decided to follow his love and passion for Caribbean music. As a hobby, Regan started a DJ business in Spring of 2011. He was a regular and popular guest DJ at several Caribbean clubs in Baltimore and played at weddings, birthdays, Christmas and New Years Eve parties . 

Regan’s exposure and obsession to music at a young age made him the Designated DJ at all family gatherings and parties. He would use anything he could find to fulfill his musical cravings, from a car stereo with a home made speaker box, to a cassette or CD player. 

This dedication and passion to promote and bring Caribbean music to everyone around the world, motivated him to create the leading online radio station for Caribbean music. TriniSpiceFM was born in the Spring of 2018, and this musical promotion journey began along side his wife Myrna- Herman Gayadeen. A labor of Love… for the music and the culture for which it stands. Despite, single handedly running all operations and demands of a fully functioning, growing internet Radio station, Regan also formed GVTV (Good Vibes Television) in 2019 with two other hosts: Ramon Lindsay (The RL Brand) and Savonnya McIntosh (Savvy E.). GVTV’s weekly internet commentary, addresses ongoing , everyday topics. The show later added another host in 2021. ‘Dr. G’
