About Me

Rebecca E Chandler is the author of "It Won't Hurt None - A Story of Courage, Healing, and a Return to Wholeness'' which details my struggle with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) and complex PTSD. The journey from the depths of trauma to a place of hope and healing offers a roadmap for others who are struggling with similar issues.

In addition to my memoir, I have also written a companion journal called "Hurt No More - Grow a Foundation for Healing". The journal offers a step-by-step guide to help others process their own trauma and find their own path to healing.

The MeToo movement, and others like it, elevated the conversation about the widespread issue of sexual abuse and harassment. However, the conversation often focuses on younger women and rarely intersects sexual trauma with mid-life health challenges. My memoir offers a unique perspective on healing and recovery for women aged 40 or older who are facing health issues, going through menopause, and who are also survivors of sexual trauma and other forms of abuse.

My story is a testament to the human spirit and its ability to overcome even the most devastating of circumstances. Through my words and courage, I hope to inspire others to stand in their truth, process their trauma, find their voice, and reclaim their power.

My journey will resonate with many listeners because it is a story of courage, perseverance, and the power of self-love.

In addition to writing, Rebecca has a rich and diverse background, having worked as an Executive Producer in film, television, and marketing for 30 years. She's also visited over 100 countries and lived in Egypt, Kenya, Dubai, and Singapore. My love for exploring different cultures and appreciating new stories creates an opportunity for a dynamic and engaging conversation.

I believe in the power of storytelling to empower others. I would be honored to share my story and life experiences with your listeners and discuss the importance of addressing every kind of abuse, trauma, complex PTSD, women’s health and reproductive rights.
