About Me

Noel Zamot is an author, speaker, and technology executive. He served in a Congressional Economic Development role in his birthplace of Puerto Rico during the aftermath of Hurricane Maria and the island's bankruptcy. Prior to that, Noel worked in a variety of roles as an executive and entrepreneur in the aerospace industry. But his best job—by far—was serving as the commander of the Air Force's elite Test Pilot School, the position General Chuck Yeager held two decades after breaking the sound barrier. Noel has flown in combat, testified twice in Congress, and escaped arrest for exposing corruption,

Most of his life experiences would qualify as unbelievable, so he decided to write a novel. Personal experiences in cyberwarfare (he developed cyber defenses for military stealth jets), space operations (his teams planned combat space missions--for real-- after 9/11) and covert programs in (REDACTED) underpin his debut thriller “The Archer’s Thread,” about a man who can see ten seconds into the future. He's working on the sequel, “The Feather’s Push,” about a young woman who can only sense emotion by touch, as well as a future "what if?" about Puerto Rico, his birthplace. The topics that cause him to lay awake at night include cyberattacks on our national infrastructure, the weaponization of AI, climate change, and economic inequality.
