“An Officer and a Marathoner: Sharing fitness and leadership lessons learned from six decades of marathons and three decades of Army life”
My name is Kevin Boyle. I am originally from Long Island, NY. I am currently a professor at American University in Washington DC. Prior to this I served 26 years in the Army as a Judge Advocate (lawyer like the movie A Few Good Men). While attending night law school I was a physical education teacher and track coach. Upon my retirement from the military I returned to coaching, this time at the college level. I have run at least one marathon in every decade starting in 1979 when I was 15 years old.
I can offer insights to running and overall fitness from beginner to seasoned athletes. I can also discuss leadership techniques I learned in the military (supervised over 2,000 individuals). I am extremely comfortable talking either in person live or recorded.
