We are all going to be remembered, the question is how. How do you want to be remembered? Working with leaders of all kinds to help make their people the priority is what changes the culture in every space...in classrooms, in boardrooms, in living rooms, in zoom rooms...you get the idea. We ALL have the opportunity to be a leader amongst our circle of influence and make a difference through communication, connection, & confidence.

How did I get here? I was a high school speech & debate coach for thirteen years in one of the largest high schools in Texas. During that time, I worked with the most incredible students from all walks of life. There are names, faces, and moments in my head that I will never forget. The stories I share and learn from in the classroom apply so seamlessly to every space. As an educator, you set out to teach…to make an impact (I promise it isn’t for the money), but what I was taught in my classroom from thousands of interactions with students is what brought me to the space I am in today. 

My name is Julie Schniers, and I am now a speaker, leadership consultant, and growth coach. My master's is in Executive Coaching and Consulting, and my heart is (as it always has been) in people… helping them recognize their potential. I have worked with school districts and businesses of all kinds I have learned that there isn’t a lot of difference between high school student leaders and boardroom executives. The simple truth is there is one tie binds…that translates to every space (the home front, the classroom, the boardroom, the team meeting space)…it’s people. People are my niche, and people are EVERYWHERE!

The reality in today’s world is that we have become a box-checking society. So how do we make people the priority, generate the most fulfillment, the most progress, and the most success in every space? Through a lot of testing on a wide variety of subjects, I have narrowed down the three key components that I speak about and lead professional development on. They work every time...COMMUNICATION, CONNECTION, and the power these key pieces bring in developing CONFIDENCE. We start by looking inward at how you communicate with yourself, connect with your space, and thrive in your own confidence before we move to others. If you aren't showing up as your best self, you can't be the best version of yourself for your circle of influence. Leading starts within.

I am a teacher to my core, so I have a memory mechanism for ya); it’s LEAN IN. The acronym pulls apart the easiest and most applicable ways to communicate and connect. I know if you LEAN IN… it will make a difference in every space. I use my teacher-style tools, storytelling skills, and knowledge of working with all types of personalities to make an impact on every type of audience.

I have learned that inside every organization, there are adults who come with a past that affects their present, needs that leaders don't understand, a story untold, and vast untapped potential. I help leaders FLIP THEIR FOCUS to find that untapped potential by looking at the needs of people instead of the boxes that need to be checked.
