About Me

In 1975, long before "intuitive eating" became a thing, I created Thin Within, a popular 2-month workshop program in the SF Bay Area--revolutionary at the time. Although I left my own weight worries behind decades ago using this experiential process, it pains me to see so many women still wasting their precious time and emotional energy on managing their weight. The Cherry Pie Paradox: the Surprising Path to Diet Freedom and Lasting Weight Loss offers simple mindfulness and mind-shifting practices to help let that sh*t go. I'm on a mission to relieve this unnecessary suffering and free the energy for the important work we were meant to do.
