My name is Joshua, known as Master Joshua in the BDSM/Leather community is an event host and promoter, counselor, BDSM surrogate, professional Dominant, end of life doula, and photographer.
Whether it is through counseling, photography, active sessions or education, Joshua holds space for others. Genuine listening with no expectations or judgment is one of the keys to his success. That, coupled with over a decade of experience helping others walk a path to personal freedom, make him one of the most effective healers in the realm of sexual identity anywhere. I'm a co-founder and leader of The Kink-Collective, a group dedicated to education and personal growth through the ethical exploration of kink/BDSM. I enjoy speaking on topics such as the intersection of spirituality and Kink, sexual expression and identity and the healing capabilities NTSB (Non-Traditional Sexual Behavior) work can do. Small talk doesn't work for me, I like diving deeper into peoples perspectives and thoughts on all different topics.

Who is The Kink Collective? What does the Kink Collective do in the community?:
With the desire to #ChangeLivesOneSpankAtaTime within the BDSM Lifestyle and Community, I had identified the biggest need was humanity and equality. Originally the Kink Collective began as a leather family for a tight knit group that eventually evolved into a large leather family of selfless individuals who showed up and asked, 'How can I help?'. And it wasn't just helping at events, it was a deeper desire for these members of the kink collective to help individuals of the broader community in building skill, being a mentor for those newer to the community/lifestyle or helping members through the introspective thoughts and questions. Ultimately giving back the same gift of being seen and heard with no judgment just as they had received.
The Kink Collective hosts numerous events that are catered to bringing community to a first name basis. Removing the idea that you need to 'give' anything and setting the expectation that you are a person before any other role or title. We empower those who attend our events to show up in their true form, in whatever makes them feel the most comfortable, sexy and strong.
