I am a Stanford fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon. I had the dream practice and career but was consistently saddened by the status of my patients. The health care system had failed to provide the right guidance to prevent bone loss that ultimately led to the need of my surgical services.

I was exposed to unconventional nutrition knowledge by my wife who runs PHD Weight Loss and Nutrition (myphdweightloss.com). I realized that the right education could save these patients. I pursued additional training to learn that wasn't only nutrition as my wife was providing but also that lifestyle, supplement, hormone, peptide and medication optimization was critical too. I went through a fellowship in precision health as well as anti-aging and functional medicine.

I started Optimal Bone Health as a platform to provide telehealth testing and optimization programs to improve bone quality. My zone of genius lies in longevity and osteoporosis treatment through a functional lens.
