My unique value is founded on over 25 years of experience working in venture capital, investment banking, corporate finance, and wealth management. I help founders of farming, food, beauty & fitness businesses better plan for the future of their company, their investments, and their personal financial planning.
Currently, I serve as the CEO of Evans & Company, where we have 30 years’ experience serving as financial planners, asset managers, a virtual family office, family governance, trust & estates, and art and philanthropy advisory. I established this company to help my clients, typically startup founders, super-voters, and business owners to look at the whole picture when considering where, and how to invest. We use revenue sensitivity analysis to project potential futures and help them answer the “what if” in their lives. I feel that the relationships that we’ve established at Evans & Company is what really sets us apart.
In the past, I’ve prepared high growth companies whenever they are beginning to raise outside capital, just closed an investment round, recently acquired, or merged, or they simply needed a plan. It never hurts to get some outside advice. I’ve found generally, founders should reach out when change occurs in your company or start-up, and they need a trusted source.
In 2021, I launched the ‘Founder Centric Plan'’ podcast. I speak directly with founders; talk through the very real and sometimes unsurprising challenges that they face throughout their journey and how they’ve overcome them. My guests have discussed their experience just starting out, crowd sourcing or venture capital raising, scaling, and even exploring how to achieve their dreams, while they’ve dealt with burn out.
Outside of my work, I’m passionate about exercise, golfing, boating, camping, American history, and bible study.
