About Me

Chuck Jaffe hosts Money Life, a weekday one-hour podcast that features the best and brightest minds in the financial-services world talking money, markets and all things investing and personal finance. He has been a nationally syndicated financial columnist for the last 25 years.

Chuck spent 14 years as senior columnist at MarketWatch.com following a decade as personal finance/mutual funds columnist at The Boston Globe. He is a past president of the Society of American Business Editors and Writers, and the author of three books: “Getting Started In Finding a Financial Advisor,” “The Right Way to Hire Financial Help” and “Chuck Jaffe’s Lifetime Guide to Mutual Funds.”

Money Life started in 2012; Chuck has done roughly 1,000 interviews per year on the show ever since, giving him a unique pulse-of-the-market/headlines view. Mostly, he loves talking money, from basic personal finance to teaching children about money, to working with financial advisers and consumer affairs, to the stock market and investing, and has those conversations without filling them with jargon and technical terms, so that he can appeal to all audiences from novices to experts.
