About Me

Let's talk about Concussion, PCS and CTE.

I was born and raised in Metro Detroit to lower-middle-class blue-collar parents who just wanted the best for their kids. I attended GVSU and graduated with a BS in Communications. I later earned my Doctorate in Chiropractic and Master's in Sports Injury Management from Life University and have treated current and former professional athletes, as well as Olympic and university athletes.

Optimizing treatment solutions and outcomes for people with long-term concussive symptoms suffering from chronic pain, fogginess, headaches, concentration problems, and other life-altering symptoms is becoming my most important contribution. Not only do I search for answers for my patients, but I deeply want the answers for myself. After years of playing youth, club, international and college soccer and later establishing a grueling 12-year women’s professional football career, which included two National Championships, the physical trauma has taken its toll on my brain and body.

I’ve held professional positions outside of healthcare, but I always gravitate right back to working with people who need help and don’t want to put a bandaid on the problem or create new symptoms with drugs or unnecessary surgeries. I’m innately driven to make the situation better than I found it and I care deeply about helping others find their highest potential in business, career, athletics, health, and life in general. I’m an advocate by nature and I love helping those who want to help themselves, but I won’t do it for them. I’d rather coach them, teach them, show or collaborate with them so that they can own the success and pride for themselves.

I’m on a mission to optimize treatment solutions and outcomes for people with long-term concussive symptoms.
