We are ALL artists- the only living creature that creates! Doing creative things is proven to help aid anxiety, depression and sleeplessness. I've led workshops for companies around the world; including Amazon, Netflix, Spotify, and Google, to name a few.
In 2014, I first heard of the Paint and Sip phenomenon - As a professional commercial artist and weekend comic, I knew I'd found my calling. I invited some friends and clients for a practice session, and then launched my business.
When the world went virtual in 2020, I pivoted the business model and now have the privilege of waking up at 3am to teach classes in Japan. Or Sweden, or groups that have team members in several countries.
I don't just teach people how to paint a thing. I teach them to love painting, practice some meditative self kindness, and make them laugh while we do it.
BrushCapades is really successful because we truly care about making art feel accessible and attainable for everyone.
